Lights, Camera, Action: Explicit Writing Instruction
What do writers do? This training will show participants how to create a classroom that fosters a love for writing by also providing explicit and clear writing instruction. Participants will learn the basics for getting started with daily writing best practices, and make plans to bring explicit standards based writing instruction to their own classroom.
Explicit Writing Instruction Institute
This work goes in-depth over a series of days and with several presentations focused on implementing a school-wide writing framework. Participants will be immersed in the framework and will spend time spend time reading current publication and research related to best practice writing instruction.
